Nutrition

Get fit on the inside. As a BTLFC member you’ll have access to comprehensive nutrition education offered by Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. Registered and licensed dietitians offer counseling and lifestyle coaching to help you reshape your lifestyle and increase your well-being. In the consultation, a dietitian will review your eating and exercise habits as well as the medications, vitamins, minerals and herbal supplements you take and discuss your health and wellness goals. This nutrition counseling is available for children, pregnant and lactating women, athletes and sports enthusiasts, and individuals committed to getting their lifestyles into peak condition.

Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is a special nutrition program for people with type II diabetes, cardiovascular disease, digestive disorders, hypertension, obesity, and much more. Our dietitians have advanced certifications in weight management, oncology and diabetes, through the American Dietetic Association and the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators.
