Certified Pool and Spa Operator Overview

The Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center's National Swimming Pool Foundation CPO® certification courses are designed to provide individuals with the basic knowledge, techniques, and skills of pool and spa operations. The certified Pool/Spa Operator® certification program has delivered more training than any other program in the pool and spa industry since 1972, resulting in more than 282,000 successful CPO® certifications in 64 countries. Many state and local health departments accept the CPO® certification program.

Course Information

  • Each 2-Day course is Friday & Saturday from 9am - 7pm. The dates are October 12 & 13 for the first course, and December 13 & 14 for the second course.
  • The course cost is $275. All books & materials are included with the course.
  • There is no required prerequisite and the certification meets state requirements.
